I know some have used UT's in FW woods.

Can someone who has played both describe if the UT-85 would be good in a FW shaft?

How does the kickpoint, launch and feel differ between the two as both have quite similar specs.

    Isn't the GD UT-85 0.35 tip vs 0.335 for most FWs?

    Don't know abou tthe latter shaft and how the UT plays in a FW but in a hybrid, the UT-85 is the best performing and feeling shaft for me. Very consistent performer as well.

    It would be nice to test out and let us know if you do it but at this moment I doubt anyone has tried it. Sounds like a good match but you would have to grind the shaft down or bore out the hosel so it fits.
