daamartin
Fourteen are the the most solid feeling irons i have felt ever. But there are a few more i would like to try also. But I have had the 770's in the bag the longest of any iron I have ever had. I might try the new cb 1000 but the 770's are pure. Also the 550 irons should be one easy hitting head and the classic soft feeling irons out there for a higher handicapper. I'm very interested to hear more about your setup with these irons, handicap, ball striking and flight, and game. I'm very keen on either the 770s or 1000s forged cavities, so the more info and feedback the better. thanks in advance!
gocchin
GDO Quick Video review of the 550's and 1000 is now up. In the end thumbs up from GDO's head pro who tested the TC-1000 and a mid capper (14 hdcp) who loved the 550's! Guess that answers the question about what level of golfer can play the 550's. The irons look amazing! As the pro put it. The 550's look simple and handsome! SUPER SOFT! (please note the video player seems to have sound off by default, so you have to unclick the mute button on the player, also seems to work best in IE) http://www.inpakuto.com/component/option,c...per/Itemid,104/

Willy
Before the formal launch, I had the chance to see the display 7 iron of the tc1000, and it looked so good! However, when the set was finally out on retail display, I didn't like the short irons, specifically the pw and 9 iron. The topline looked too thick, and the clubs a bit too midsized. The irons that impressed me from a purely optical perspective were the following: the royal collection cv blade, the srixon i701 tour irons (international model but in a JDM store), and the romaro pro irons. The size and shape of the 3 sets were just right, so to were the soles of the 3. The soles of the tc1000 look really promising as well. When you say the clubs looked too midsized, were you referring to the short irons specifically (since you said the 7 iron looked so good). Also did you see the 550's?
