I'm currently using Fujikura VTLT- which I love the shaft- but it is in short supply and came be hard to find....so I'm looking for an alternative with the same like profiles...any suggestions?

I also have a roddio w8-wa, which I haven't tested just yet...

The Roddio will be pretty low spinning as will a Diamana Whiteboard and the new Rombax X series and Axiv X Series are rather low spinners. However their profiles may be slightly softer than the VTLT. What flex are you?

Josh sinced you have the Roddio give it a try, my guess it should be in the low 2000 rpm spin range... (I've even seen Roddio's do around 1800rpm on on the vector) make sure it's tipped properly to achieve your desired stiffness/cpm.

Ozik X-Con 5 works pretty well for that.

Ok, just installed the W8-WA in a ft-5 8.5....but its untipped(as the ft-5 effectively tips any shaft by 1/2")... so I'll check it out and report back!

Ozik X-Con 5 works pretty well for that.

Hmm...every Ozik i've tried in the past hit it too high, but I'm open to suggestions- what flex would you suggest in a ft-5(202g)??? I would be excited to hit such a light shaft with low spin and low flight!!

an X-Con 5 would probably be too soft for you and it's a high launcher. You're not going to find a 50g range shaft that kicks high and launches super low. Another option in the high end category is the Japan tour proven P9003 (I'm assuming you're X Flex) or standard 9003 which has a stiff version. Theya re mid launching shafts but famous for feel, control and stability on the Japanese tour.

Sorry it's the original Graphite Design P9003 prototype that has finally come retail. One of the most used shafts on the Japanese tour. Yeah the Roddio will give us a good idea of what you need.

Yes similar to that profile except with far more technology, tighter dispersion and lower launch.

the 9003 series is made for the hard hitter with high swing speeds.... which was why it was previously tour only
