One of my friends in Japan told me that Callaway launched some new gear yesterday in Japan. The Legacy driver is an evolution of this years ERC Hyper, and looks nice!

The shaft selection looks cool and includes the new Diamana, but they dropped the Quattro Tech!!! :tsg_smilie_fever:

Does anyone have info on the new GD shaft they will offer, the Tour AD MD?

K, they didn't actually launch it, they just announced it. It won't be available for another 3 months. Release date is scheduled for mid February next year. I'm reading the article now and will be back soon with more info.

It will be available with three new shafts, the ali islei, tour ad md, and rombax Z series!

Hey guys,

T, your correct, I should have said press launch... I saw the February date and thought 'what a nice thing to pick up at the golf show' :tsg_smilie_fever: .

Unclekent, I saw the new shaft, but I haven't seen any info on it.

Chris it does look amazing, and I hope that everyone enjoys the pics!

Hey Gocchin,

Using your best translation skills, can you tell me what Callaway is saying about the Legacy Driver and how it is different than the Hyper ERC? Any help would be great!! Thanks.

I've written up the description and put it in the Pro Shop along with the preorder... looks to be improvements over the Hyper ERC but we'll see for sure closer to release. Great shaft offering but not much info on the new shafts... As usual Callaway has set retail pretty high...
