Hello.

I was wondering if anybody tried those irons.

My mother, who also loves JDMs, wants to get new set of irons to replace current PRGR irons(used for about 10 years).

She is happy with the current irons and she wants same or higher level of consistency/accuracy and maybe a little longer or similar distance shots.

She shots about 90s and don't know her swing speed. She is a very consistent player. Never go out of bounds. She just hits short(8 iron for 100 yard).

She is thinking of switching irons just because it's old.

She doesn't have any problems with current irons.

Should she switch irons or not? and if so, which one?? :tsg_smiley_putter2:

HELP!!

Thanks.

FWIW, I just got my wife the 2006 VIQ CL. I got a brand new set for a very reasonable price since the 2008 is out or going to come out.

She likes it a lot better than her TM RAC's. Its super light, sits very well at address and allows her to just focus on her swing and let the club do the rest. The moment she held a demo in her hand she knew right away "this is it"!

Happy hunting.

Are you talking about a lady playing the men's clubs or playing the ladies version of the clubs like ViQ? Mizuno has ladies clubs so has ViQ. What is your question on those clubs? What model of PRGR your mother is playing currrently?

I help teach a few girls I know who are just getting taking up the game (Toby, stop laughing about the idea of me teaching :tsg_smilie_spit: ) and they all love the 2006 ViQ. I will ask one of them to try the 2008 version to see what they think. If the '08 was on par with the current model, they would be a fantastic club.

As for the PRGR's, is there a reason you weren't looking at the 505 and or the Lady-specific Sweep? The Sweep hybrid mid irons and forgiving short irons with that set might be the ticket, if she isn't already playing hybrids or high lofted woods.

I don't know of any girls playing the JPX, but I've seen a few with both the '06 and '07 OnOFF irons as well.

Sorry I didn't narrow it down for you, but I think that the ViQ, the PRGR's, or the OnOFF's would be great. If the women's JPX is as good as the mens club, it would probably be another solid choice as well.

S, one set beats all of those. Ladies Epon.... awesome soft Endo forgings with Graphite Design shafts. Priced better than all those sets too. Send me an email and I will set you up.

Anybody know the name of ladies version of JPX E500 and how it plays??

Thanks!!

Looks like 2006 ViQ was a big hit and also would love to hear about 2008 ViQ.

Same here C, everyone who hits the Lepon is amazed at the feel and performance and that is guys included. They will perform better than all those other ladies irons. My wife loves her Lepons, totally changed her game and she actually started enjoying golf and appreciating it more after getting the Lepons!
