I purchsed Srixon DI #4 from TSG close out sale and what a club!!!! I used to carry old Nike slingshot as my DI (stole it from my bro) but Srixon is amazing. Easy to hit with butterly feel. The head size is big enough to give you confidence but not too big. I gently put the slingshot back into my bro's bag. Thanks TSG

The Offical George Spirits Thread @ TSG!

When are the retail versions coming out?? -
I'm sure the Lepon is great (thinking about buying the set for my wife to be) anyways, I suggested Lepon to my mother but she didn't know about Lepon and didn't wanted to try. So, She bought Tourstage VIQ CL from TSG!! She loves them a lot. She mentioned JDM clubs are lighter and has more feel than USDMs. (better accurcy, better distance) In fact, she is thinking about changing her Woods to ViQ CL as well. From what I think, PRGR(my mom's previous set) is for better players. I don't know about current PRGR clubs, but from what I think, I think it suits to younger and stronger players. ViQ CL has tons of forgiveness and it sets up pretty nice. I would definately recommand ViQ CL especially if she is not a low handicapper. As far as Daiwa, don't know much about them. Hope this helps.

In terms of technology, are these better than G-fields? What are the differences other than the name and a little bit of design change?? Thanks~ -
I think this grip really works. I would love to have it on my putter. but.. the design and the size of the grip holds me back.
-
That's a good idea. Chris, do you have one??

Thanks for the help. I tried them on the matts of course. (It's still cold here as you know) Currently, I'm using 8* bounce 60* wedge and I like the 6* bounce better even on course. If I remember correctly, I don't think I play on soft courses often and also I don't use the 60* in the bunker. If you know low bounce wedges, let me know. Thanks.

I tried the Epon KGX wedge. It felt really good. solid. I think it would be perfect for the 56* wedge. (I use 56 & 60 wedges) BUT, for the 60* wedge, the bouce was too much for me. I like the feel of sliding under the ball with 60* but KGX bounce angle was too much. Any suggestions??
-
Is it light compare to other heads??
-
Thanks T. I wish I was in Japan as well!!
-
Sorry about that. I'll definately look into KGX wedges. I really want to try those wedges before I purchase. gocchin where are you????
-
Wow. didn't know that. what would be the effective bounce angles for normal shots(sqaure face) and flop shots(open face)?? Thnx
-
Thank you for replies. I checked out fourteen, RC, Epon, Yururi but doesn't seem like they have 60/06. I think Epon AF wedges had 60/06 but they are sold out. for 56, i think Epon KZG are fine but what should I do for 60???? Thanks in advance
-
New season is coming and I need new wedges to get up&down with. I was originally thinking Epon AF wedges but they were sold out!! I also was thinking about Epon KZG wedges but the bounce angle is too much for my swing. Please suggest me some wedges with crazy spin and hopefully doesn't shred the ball too much. EDIT: Forged JDM wedges please~

Have you had Miura Irons? I wonder how miura and fourteen differ. Thnx
-
Thanks. Looks like they both have similar characteristics. I wonder what made PRGR $100 more expensive??
-
Thanks T. Looks like both are good FWs. you mentioned the PRGR has slightly larger head. is PRGR shallow or deep face??
-
Hello. I'm here asking some feedback on women's club again. Received the tourstage ViQ CL irons and my mom loved it. she said it felt sooo smooth and felt like gliding. also mentioned that it was very forgiving on off center hits. I would recommand to any female golfers with average or slower swing speed. She also wants to purchase 3 wood. She never had a 3 wood and some par 4s, she has hard time reaching green in 2. So I thought about these two models for her. If anyone had experience with ViQ or M3 fairway woods, it would be great. Thanks.

I guess I have a semi steep swing and considering these wedges since I heard that epon wedges have crazy spin BUT I don't like ball shredders..... What should I do????
