xchangmanx
I noticed Yamaha is also offering the Impres x driver in a type D ST-Long version. Anyone know the difference between the two? I've seen the pics online, and looks like the ST-Long has the sole of a 425V and the back of the crown looks like its painted redish. Wondering how come this driver isn't offered in the proshop... ?? Looks very appealing. Anyone have any clue?

Looks very appealing. Anyone have any clue? Other than the shaft being spec'd a bit longer, the ST-Long shaft looks to be a touch ligher, and the lie angle is a shade (0.5 Degrees) more flat. I don't know if there is a big difference in the face/head of the Type D vs Type D ST.
gocchin
As far as I know they are only offering the 460D ST long, not the new 4.6D in ST long. The ST Long is based on their best selling previous generation driver the 460D and is just longer. The 460D models had already been removed from the pro shop as they've been replaced by the newer 4.6 versions. They haven't bothered releasing a 4.6D ST Long as all the new 4.6 drivers can be ordered custom lengths including up to 46.5" any way.
