Posted January 10, 200817 yr Royal Collection is releasing it's new lineup called the cvXer. The cvXer driver is RC's largest ever at 460cc and is available in 9 10 and 11 lofts. There's also a new cvXer FW and Utility. The Pro TP FW for professional level and low handicap players is still part of the 2008 lineup. They've also added a new super forgiving iron, from the Star FD line. The FD Forged (most of us recognize this Endo forged head as the Type X iron!)
January 10, 200817 yr Gocchin, Do you think there is any difference between the new FD forged & the Old SFI forged? I assume both are from Endo....is it just a re-badging of sorts? Just curious. Kent

Just curious. Kent Hi Kent, Off the bat, it "appears" it's just a re-badging though there may be minute changes that I can't visually see. Once more info comes out we'll know for sure. Honestly it wouldn't make sense to me just to re-badge the SFI so there may be some changes we don't know about yet.
January 10, 200817 yr The iron looks identical to the Epon type X iron which they discontinued. Does Endo make this club?

February 14, 200817 yr When will the 2008 line-up be released? Have always liked RC fairway woods....any Pro TP players out there, interested in hearing if anyone has played it with a steel shaft. Any translations yet on the 1st post of the New CVxer fairway wood line?
February 24, 200816 yr Some of the fairway woods and hybrids look like dead ringers for Sonartecs. I'm sure I can't be the first to make this observation. Edited February 24, 200816 yr by dorkman53
February 24, 200816 yr Author Some of the fairway woods and hybrids look like dead ringers for Sonartecs. I'm sure I can't be the first to make this observation. Sonartec was the sister company of RC and used all of RC's japanese model designs albeit always 2 years behind ie their GS Tour FW released last year was RC's CV Pro from 2005... however apparently they are no longer going to be using RC designs which is too bad for them.... There are quite a few pics of the RC booth in the gallery.
