Posted January 20, 200817 yr Hey guys, My NC-1s are starting to get a little worn out. Since they are so hard to come by these days, or so it seems, I was looking for some suggestions that would relate favorably to them in terms of feel and forgiveness. I currently have the Nippon 1150s in them, so I'm sure that makes a little bit of difference in terms of feel...... Anyway, any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated......
January 24, 200817 yr For my money, it would be the Onoff 247's... surprisingly foregiving for player cb's and the same wonderful soft feel... the top line is thinner and the offset is less, and the toe is a bit more rounded but a great set. The Epon 301s are very nice too, foregiving and nice feel, but they have a bit more weight down low, and are not as stylish, IMO. JAT.

January 29, 200817 yr Anyone know how the R7 forged might compare to the NC-1s? I think there was another thread here somewhere comparing these two. If I remember correctly, the NC1s were more favored.
