First off,

Thank You Chris for the super Fast delivery!!!!

I got a few S57 short irons to compliment my i10 long irons. I shafted them up with some new KB Tour shafts and the results were terrific!!!

Super good looks and superb feel and performance. Another great Ping product.

ICE,

Tells us more...you are the first I've heard that have them. Did you get a full set or just short irons?

Comparison with the S58's?

The 57s have been getting some buzz based that they are built off the W wedge design. They look very similar to the S58. Anyone who has hit both, are the 57s worth an upgrade?

I got just the short irons to compliment my Tour W wedges. My friend has S58's and we have compared them side by side. The S57's are very similar in size. Just a hair thicker top line and a slightly thinner sole. The back cavity and the Tungsten toe are the most significant differences. When you hit them together you really notice the difference in feel. The 57's feel/sound more muted, more solid. You can really tell when you mis**t them, the 57's don't feel as harsh and are more forgiving. A nice offering from Ping and a nice improvement on what was a pretty good club already.

My .02
