I'm using an Epon Forged 460 driver with a Diamana Whiteboard at the moment, but the club hoe in me wants a new toy! Should I get the 101 or EMB? Would like to hear the experiences of those who have tried both clubs.

5.0 index. 108-110 mph SS. Have a fairly aggressive move and hit a draw fyi.

Most customers are buying the EMB. I like the AF101 over the EMB.

I have a feeling if most guy's tried both they would select the AF101.

I find the 101 longer and better feeling while the EMB could simply be the most forgiving and long high MOI design ever made.

IMO AF101 all the way...

I dunno. I haven't had the new 101, but do have the EMB. It is plenty long and super, super forgiving. For me, for now, I can't see how to get away from it. I think you must consider the shaft carefully as I am not sure the stock shaft will put up with your swing. Maybe try the EMB with a shaft in the 3.0- 4.5 torque range. GD MD? Although I have a Ozik XCON5 to install, I haven't. Thinking of trying the Fubuki by Mits. also.

I would agree. The AF 101 has a bigger upside, better feeling, longer. Im actually going to have a 2 driver setup of the AF 101, and EMB when I have to keep it in play and my timing is a bit off.

I have both the EMB and the 460zr. I have not yet tried the new af101.

The 460zr and I am sure the 101 both will have a superior feel to the EMB. They may be easier to work and if you are a pure striker then will probably give you more satisfaction.

The EMB is absolutely awesome. It is so easy to draw , fade and hit straight. Also it is 20 yards further than the 460. The one downside to it is the sound, which is very LOUD. but to be honest I dont mind as long as I am down the middle.

Shaft wise I have gone for the roddios......I am using the Roddio w8wa which is very smooth, easy to load and unload, does not spin much and seems to be very consistent.

I've now hit both, The AF101 is longer for me, feels incredible, and easy to work. EMB is great at going straight. I've been able to hit it twd the toe alittle farther and w/slight draw, and even though its a 9 degree the ball gets in the air nicely. The sound isn't as bad as I thought it would be. Couple of my friends swing at 115-120, they make it sound damned good.

Overall,

Id buy the AF101

i've looked at the specs on the 101 and it says high moi, but 4300 doesn't seem that high. does this set up slightly larger than the 460zr?

Honestly to me it looks the same.... but my friends say the 101 is smaller than the ZR

I have moved from the 460 ZR 9.5 to the Af 101 9.5. Played both with the same Diamana WhiteBoard 63 shaft and both with the Roddio W-6BA stiff shaft. I am staying with the AF101 Roddio W-6BA stiff at 44.75 finished length D1.5 swing weight.

The Roddio is tighter than the whiteboard and as long and some times longer for me. It must however be spined and not installed simply with roddio words up or down.

I recently purchased the AF 101 with GD MD6 x flex and is very much happy with the combo. I drive much longer compared to my Burner TP.
