luthcol
Epon 701 irons w/Nippon 850 shafts in stiff flex, P-4 iron. Red Golf Pride decade grips. 9/10 condition. I am selling them because I hit them too high and too far. I play a blade and wanted to try a more forgiving club, but I need a club that I can control distance and trajectory better. I will trade for Fourteen 550 forged irons only. Price is $950.00 shipped. Mike

Mike Too high and too far eh... that's too bad. I'm sorry to hear they did not work out for you Mike. Were they as forgiving and easy to hit though as you had hoped for? Were they as forgiving and easy to hit though as you had hoped for?T T, The clubs are very forgiving, maybe too much so. My problem is that I am hitting my irons a least 2 club lengths longer than my Fourteen irons. On Sat I used a 7 iron with a yardage of 186 yards into the green and flew that green. I also hit the clubs too high. I play during the week in the afternoon when the wind starts to pick up so I can see that becoming a problem. As I told you, I am a 6 handicap because I am the worst putter in my club, but my ball striking is very good. These are great clubs for those who need to add some length and height to their shots. I would not recommend them to someone who is a solid ball striker. Mike
luthcol
I have decided to keep the Epon's, so they are no longer for sale. I took them to my clubfitter and had the lofts and lies adjusted and I am starting to bond with them. I was looking for a more forgiving club and I think these are the one's. Please delete the ad.
