Backspin9
What makes the Japan TVD different than the regular Spin Milled? The 54* and 58* Spin Milled's I've been playing for 2+ years now seem to be wearing down a bit and not spinning as much any more. I'll probably replace them at the end of this season with something. Been playing Vokeys forever so I may stay with those.
Bombardier Smith
Ive been a keen follower of bob vokeys wedges for along time.i,ve just replaced my vokeys with a pair of epon wedges and so far im very impressed by there performance, distance control is amazing and they spin up a treat although they are shredding pro v1.s and nike ones for fun. I wonder if he is taking the cameron route and coming out with a full-on custom studio. Maybe Iron sets would be a natural evolution. It would be good for the USDM market I think. +TourSpecGolfer
The Japanese version has slightly different stampings and higher bounce. Other than that I don't know of any other differences.

Goshinboku
Interesting... I wonder if he is taking the cameron route and coming out with a full-on custom studio. Maybe Iron sets would be a natural evolution. It would be good for the USDM market I think. that is what vokey.com is all about, its very similar to the cameron custom shop; the main difference right now is you buy the one per month limited wedge and have the option of shaft(s), grips(3 different choice) as well as lie adjustment, and stamping(straight or dancing) and paintfill. unlike the cameron custom shop, you can not send in your vokey's for custom work(yet dont know if this will be an option in the future) as for irons? who is gonna do this, you can order custom from the titleist rep in your area, shaft, grip, loft, lie etc. what else do you want? rbenz
as for irons? who is gonna do this, you can order custom from the titleist rep in your area, shaft, grip, loft, lie etc. what else do you want? I want Vokey branded irons like the wedges.. Nah not really. Man, relax... My goodness.... I was just throwing it out there. This is a discussion board. Didn't mean to threadjack. Apologies to the powers that be. /end
Goshinboku
why would there be vokey branded irons? are there scotty cameron wedges...no. these guys stick to what they do best, wedges and putters. i dont see why titleist would put there name on an iron set? it makes absolutely no sense. sorry to come off rude or harsh, i just dont understand the logic behind something like that?
