Im looking to change my Epon AF101 for something new

Its a 9 deg loft with a Ozik F6M2 firm shaft. This combo gives me a great flight but I think I should be hitting it longer ( who doesnt????)

Ive got a swing speed approx 85/90 mph

Hit a draw approx 250/260 on a good day

I like to hit it low ( Scottish weather ) and theres not much run due to ground conditions but would like to max it out what run there is

Can anyone recommend a club and shaft combo that might get those extra yards??

I spent a lot of time in your beautiful City. I was there one time when a Flare was sent up for a call to a Sea Rescue team. What sight watching those brave guys hit the waves heading out into the North Sea.

I would recommend that you keep the AF101 but change the shaft to a Graphite Design Tour AD MD6r.

When that is done, just tee the ball a little bit lower to maximize the engineering/design of the face of your AF101. You should get a good penetrating ball flight that will carry farther. Get some of those impact stickers and do a little testing to find just the right height to tee the ball and, bingo, you will have what you are seeking.

Im actually sitting on an Oil Rig in the middle of the North Sea right now ! Its getting near the time of the year when the weather is getting cold and the seas are starting to rise!

I dont want to launch it into space but would like a lowish flight with some run

Many people have experimented with different shafts, but I think that they have mostly returned to the stock Graphite Design.

Im beginning to think the same , reading some of the posts on here it looks like thats the best option.

Ive looked on the Graphite Design website and they have some new shafts, which has just confused me now !!

I see that you are using the af101 now and you would be totally disappointed switching to the EMB.
