EMB Reshaft

Ok guys, trying to find a reshaft for the stock EMB shaft. Currently using the SR in a 10.5 head and looking for something with less spin. 98-102 mph clubhead speed with medium/smooth transition. I play on fairly wet fairways and humid climates. In some cases, the ball actually lands several feet behind the ball mark! So looking for medium/high launch, lower spin. Maybe Xcon 5 or Bassara Falcon. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Wow. that's some serious wet conditions!! My SS is almost identical to yours.

I have two EMB's. I have never played the stock shaft so I can't compare the shafts I have to it.

I have the Axiv-X 6062 in one of them and the Roddio W-6BA in the other.

The Axiv-X is working perfectly. Medium to medium high flight. Very happy with this shaft in this Driver. For me, it is a better combination than the Roddio. I have the same Roddio in a Epon Technity Driver that I really like which is why I put it in the EMB. For me, it is a better shaft in the Technity than the EMB.

The X-con should be a good shaft as well, just don't have any experience with it.

Good Luck

what's the main difference between the V and X for the Axiv? It's a great shaft.

I still own two xcon5 shafts in firm and they offer a really good mix of high launch and low spin and ball speed. I think it has been said on the other forum that these really perform.

Thanks! Tell me about it. The courses I play have pretty heavily watered fairways and don't necessarily drain well. What about the older Axiv 5564M. I had this in an older driver and loved the feel. Thinking about experimenting with this in the EMB. Chris or Gocchin? Any thoughts on this?

I also have the Axiv X on my EMB, and the combo is an absolute jewel. For me, it produces a high line drive that rolls and rolls. By FAR the longest and straightest driver I've ever had. I use the 6058 due to my 95-98 mph swing speed. This shaft really loads and kicks better than any I've tried in the past, but is also highly controllable; not a noodle in the slightest. If you choose to go this route, get advice from one of the board experts regarding the appropriate flex for you based on tempo and swingspeed.

i have the 10.5 and the 12*. i have tried them with the axiv x, quattro md, roddio and quattro green. my favorite by far is a 12* with quattrotech green 65. the higher ball flight and piercing trajectory has actually yielded me more distance compared to the 10.5 . may not be the longest but its defintely the most consistent
