dcn7272
I am considering makeing a trade. Part of the trade is a Webb putter He says it is a putter made for the Japanese tour but i have never heard of these. What is it worth? Part of the trade on my end is a Gold's Factory. The Webb putter he has is a anser style head with what looks like a oil can finish. HELP!!!!!!!!!
Mjr. D
http://www.webb-putters.com/ Not my thing, personally. I wouldn't trade in a gold's for one of those but you never know, maybe they're magnificent.
+TourSpecGolfer
Have your golds adjusted so its more to your liking. You have a sweet blank sole that can have some engravings done, hand grind on the lines if they are to sharp for your eye, you can re mill the face, ad or reduce weight and even change the finish and paint fill. idrive
What is it that would make the Webb Putter better? If it's a great Putter why does he want to trade you? Your Gold's can be customized a thousand different ways... I guess I find it hard to believe that you would be trading for something that is going to be better than what you have. An answer style is an answer style...
mojo2W
Not sure if I've seen this before...a guy is a handcrafted anser maniac who lives near my apt... any trained guy can send a CAD file into a sophisticate CNC machine then use high grade steel to cut out something that we call putter...but this is not putter all about. To make a putter as the extension of you hands, on the green... there gotto be more than that. Despite the business strategy...Webb is nowhere near Gold's. my 2 cents opinion.
