nicwyc
Hi all, I'm a mid handicaper who intend to fix some of my flaws in my swing, especially my inconsisntency and inaccuracy in my driver shots (where i tend to fade or slice shots). Just wondering has anyone tried this new Bridgestone Science Eye equipment and what are your thoughts? I'm interested in getting this equipment but would like get some other opinions beforehand. Thank you.

nicwyc
Thank you. I'll look around. This is the first time i join in such forums. No idea how it works. Sorry for causing trouble :) just do a search, a lot has already been said on this forum
Duffer19
I don't think this personal 'LM" is going to fix your swing. It would be more useful in an indoor range but if you have access to outdoor practice fac., nothing beats looking at ball flight. BTW, there is no English user manual. Gocchin here in this forum translated some basic operating manual for forum members and those purchased the unit here but software I believe is still in Japanese. gocchin
The Science Eye is a good toy to have if you like to monitor your swing speed and get an idea of your swing path ie inside out or out side in or straight.... no machine can fix your swing of course, but for some people the data may be useful as it also measures your tempo (ie time to complete a swing). So putting all that data together you could probably get something out of it like consistency and change in swing path etc. As duffer said software and manuals are still Japanese but the machine itself is quite straight forward. nicwyc
First of all thank you Duffer19 and gocchin. As gocchin said the device is good to monitor my swing speed and my swing path which may be one of the reason for being inconsistent in my swing (outside in swing) especially when i want to be aggressive to get some distance. My coach has also advise that device as such, although won't be as accurate as what you can see with your eyes in range, which i agree with Duffer19, it'll be good to have a record of your good and bad swing, especially the tempo of the swing. So thank you so much again people and these are very useful comments. However it is also until now that i wish i know how to read japanese. :) p/s I read through Gocchin eng manual and i'm very thankful. it will proof to be very handy in future.
