Hi folks,

im looking to re shaft a set of R7 forged and unsure of what to put in.

Im a fan of the nippon shafts, maybes more due to availiblity in the UK , more than anything else !

Any body got any feedback/advice on shaft choice?

Was reading about the Nippon NS PRO 750 and like the figures, im looking for a low flight with a bit of run on landing with the longer irons.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

If you're looking for steel shafts, how about KB Tour 90?

not really familiar with that shaft. Over here in the UK we are really limited in our choices

Whats the story with these shafts?

Thanks for the info

my only experience with nspro 750 is a stiff flex on my af901 epon hybrid. it is pretty nice and stable and suitable for this sort of club. it is on the soft side but no complaints, the club is firmly in my bag. i hit this club pretty consistently, i tried the 850 and did not work with this club. i also have friends that use this shaft exclusively on their irons 8 guys to be exact and they are all praises for the shaft. these guys though are those who like a weight similar to graphite but have the feel of steel.

kb tour 90 is also a good choice but is nearly 20 grams more than the ns750.

I'm playing the 950s stock in mine Geoff... they go really high but are very predictable. I've never tried the 750 but the 950 weight feels good w/this head... might wanna try the kb tour 90 like golfrules suggested.
