I have been getting conflicting information on this.. Does anybody know for SURE what the tipping information is??

3/5 wood, Standard Bore and blind bore.

Below is what I found and believe to be correct:

for a 3 wood

bore through insert only 2 inches

for blind bore tip 1/2"

standard bore tip 1/2"

for a 5 wood

bore through insert 2" only

blind bore tip 1/2"

for standard tip 1"

Those specs are correct. Though tipping amount is at your discretion, what you wrote is what is suggested by GD.
