I bought a set of epon iron covers from a guy in Australia (super nice guy) and he got into telling me about different club heads and shafts. Anyway, this driver came up. Apparently it just won the Japanese Long Drive championship. Well actually, the guy using the club did, but obviously the club is the reason why :tsg_smilie_smile2:

It's called a Team Yoshimura PT 435 Tour Project. I couldn't find this specific driver but this is their website

Anyone sicko out there have any info on these guys? Good?, suck? Great?

We do know them and speak with them each year also if you are interested in the product we can get it. It isnt very expensive and is used quite a bit for Japanese long drive events. I have hit it on a few occasions but I didn't take note of the performance. About the only thing I do remember is that they are fairly loud and hollow feeling which is usually the case for many long drive drivers.

I used to play their hybrids and they are actually quite solid and inexpensive for JDM (still have them in my 2nd back up bag). I did demo their 450 driver with stock shaft (OEM made by Mamiya I think) a few years ago but did not find them particular long. It could have been my bad swing. They do have one model that comes in a 6 degree loft only and could be the long drive head that you are referring.
