gus
Please note that the pics do not do the blue flamed finish in justice at all; look amazing in person. The irons have never been hit since the work was completed. The Circle T is one of the origional tour putters from Scotty Cameron and is extremely rare and collectable; never re-finished. Also, hard to find an Onoff Plus driver with an open face, trust me...BB Edited September 15, 2009 by BigBen
jlww3
What is the leading edge/sole grind of the Wilson's like?
gus
Like a hot knife through butter; this iron was hand ground with proper "tour" caliber bounce/radius in mind for sure. The overall length of the blade is small and the soles are thin; absolutely perfect in my mind. If I didn't mention, this is a limited addition iron designed for the tour to commemorate Wilsons' 59 (at the time!) major victories. Designed after my favorite iron set of all time; the Wilson FG17's. Edited September 15, 2009 by BigBen
jlww3
The leading edge is pretty sharp? Was the flaming done after the chrome was stripped or is it just a hue over the finish?
gus
The chrome was fully stripped which suprisingly didn't reduce the weight very much (was worried about that). I had these irons finshed 100% correctly which as you might guess was labor intensive and expensive. The finish is raw however and will age and rust over time; I think this will look spectacular and one of kind. Leading edge is sharp but significantly cambered; best of both worlds.
