Posted September 17, 200915 yr comment_157134 Got to admit... TM looks to have done a good job on this one. Looks and feels pretty good! S25C with a very nice and clean satin finish and V Grooves.
September 17, 200915 yr comment_157136 Are the 3 & 4 irons available for individual purchase or only offered as additions to a 5-P set?
September 17, 200915 yr Author comment_157138 They have not been released yet but yes you should be able to buy the 3 and 4 individually.
September 19, 200915 yr comment_157158 Im a bit confused by the " Made in Japan " printing. It isnt an engraving and I honestly dont know where these were produced. Could these actually be made in Japan or do they mean assembled in Japan?
September 20, 200915 yr comment_157166 Very interested in a set and now i see that TSG stock them but I hate the NS Pro - will there be a custom project X - or just heads only?? Cheers Edited September 20, 200915 yr by nudgeegolf
September 20, 200915 yr Author comment_157167 The "Made in Japan" printing is not the typical Made in Japan that Nippon uses on their shafts so yes it is indeed a bit confusing. According to TM Japan the Burner Forged are Made in Japan/Made in China This is the new vague way of saying where a club is made as we don't know what parts are made where. Made in China could be the grip, it could also be the head. Made in Japan could also be the head? We do know for sure that NS Pro is made in Japan. Taylormade is never available as heads only. The Burner Forged will most likely be available for their custom shaft program including PX.
September 22, 200915 yr comment_157199 How much offset do these irons have compared to other TM irons or Tourstage?
October 11, 200915 yr comment_157429 Do these irons have a reverse offset? They look like the long irons have much less offset than the scoring irons. What good is this and why did they switch it from the original design?
November 21, 200915 yr comment_158039 Do these irons have a reverse offset? They look like the long irons have much less offset than the scoring irons. What good is this and why did they switch it from the original design? There is no such thing as Reverse Offset. Common mistake for those not familiar with JDM equipment. Do a Search of this site to find the explaination of Face Progression and Offset. Basically the higher the FP number the less offset.
November 21, 200915 yr comment_158040 How much offset do these irons have compared to other TM irons or Tourstage? Nearly the same FP/Offset numbers as the 2008 TP Forged. Any chance someone has a review of the 2009 Burner Forged Irons? I think I need these. Edited November 21, 200915 yr by 18th Legion
