Fourteen SF 206 or PRGR Egg 13*?

Has anyone tried PRGR Egg 13*?

I'm debating between SF-206 15* (bent to 14*) in my bag and the PRGR Egg 13*. I can hit 3 woods high so I'll probably go with the 13* for more distance.

I've been pretty happy with the SF206 with the 73 blueboard, but I feel it's about time to change. If I'm convinced that I can hit the ball 10 yards longer with the PRGR than with SF206, I'll definitely switch. My driver SS is 103.

Any comments will be appreciated.

Personally I hit the Egg longer than any other FW I have tried before.

You have a swing speed close to idrive who is also using the Egg and can chime in.

The Egg is shallower than the Fourteen and is also more forgiving. As a matter of a fact I think idrive replaced a Fourteen with the Egg.

I have not tried the Fourteen Sf206, but did have a Spoon Egg 13. Great club, but it was almost as long as my driver with roll and I didn't get the height I really wanted. I really liked the feel and forgiveness, so I have a Spoon Egg 15 with not quite so stiff a shaft on its way to replace it.

I did. The SF308 which had been in the bag longer than any other 3 wood I've owned. The Fourteen is an excellent club.

I have the 15* (egg) which is the same loft as the Fourteen. It is easily 10+ yards longer. What I like most about it is I can really go after it when I'm trying to get max distance and I can also throttle it back a bit looking strickly for control.

Firmly in the bag.

I'm really close to pulling the trigger on the 22*

Just a small vote of confidence for the fourteen, (unfortunately can't say I hit the PRGR), but I've had a sf206 for two years in the bag, and have two more new ones in the closet when the first one dies. The face height, being not super shallow, works for me, especially off the tee, and tall enough to hit out the light rough without worrying about getting under the ball.
