Is this a joke? What is this supposed to mean?

The only real situation would be that you're the CEO of Callaway and you want to have me as one of the Callaway staff players. And I don't mind being one. Just give me a few days to think and try the TM irons. lol..

To BigEasy - you aren't allowed to play TM irons, only Callaway so quit lookin'!

I believe the Big Easy is a staff player isn't he? It was totally a joke amigo :)

They look good way better then I thought they would, remind me of the r7 B heads with the notch being different and better overall looks. Still don't understand the soft cast head thing, different steel or way of casting maybe. Hope they play well for you, they are the first iron from TaylorMade I would consider playing in a long long time.

Exactly what I'm thinking. This is the first TM iron I've ever consider playing but don't understand the soft cast thing. Why couldn't they just forge the heads? I'll probably try them though because the head profile is one of the best I've ever seen.

You know I totally agree with both comments about casting vs forged but there are a few nice benefits, one being durability. Since they have managed to create a soft casting which is very forged in feel (I'm quite impressed and surprised actually) the added value is they simply will hold up better than a forging. Less likely to deviate from lie/loft as well. So in this regard it's good, I still highly doubt the true sensitivity of a forging is there, time will tell. If I had to make a true comparision I would say Endo in feel vs Miura; not buttery but crisp yet soft if that makes sense.

BB,

I'm looking forward to the shoot out. TP's and X-Forged.

D,

I'm glad to hear you have them shafted up and ready to go. They look awesome. Thanks for the comparo pics with the X-Forged. The dark finish of the TM irons is superb, the best looking cast iron from TM in my opinion.

D, how are your Burner TP's coming along? I finally have some here for picture taking which I will do tomorrow.
