My assumption is that "low launching" means a lower trajectory. If that is correct, I am interested to see (without getting into shaft issues) what are the low launching drivers on the market. It seems that the the new Legacy Tour Drivers and the Tourstage X drive 701 Drivers fit within this category. However, it appears these are fade biased drivers. I am interested to see if there are more neutral performance drivers on the market having low trajectories.

I would suggest having a look at:

The Yamaha Tour V201

Yamaha V201

Callaway Legacy Tour

Custom Kamui Head

TourStage 703

I think depending on the head alone to achive a result will take you there slower, Get one in a lower loft, and a high kick shaft and I think you will be very happy. I would have Kamui build one custom with weighting to provide a lower launch.

I would not suggest the Kamui (KA MOO EE said all together...) unless you go for the 420cc as the 456 naturally launches high (though lower than some since its real loft and you can move the CG a bit). Go for a 9*.

The V201 is my suggestion especially with a low launching shaft.

The 703 is newer but it launches higher than the 901, 701 and 701R/701G, but paired with the right shaft it could also produce a lower trajectory.

begs the question...What are the high kick point shafts on the market and how is the stock shaft for Yamaha? I always wanted to try the Yamaha but I have always played with 8.5 loft and Yamaha starts at 9 degrees. I assume with the right shaft, it would not make a difference...
