Duffer19
I have the 08 model and it is great and very light weight. From my understanding, one can orient these special cleats to enhance one swing to hit either draw, fade or straight.

gocchin
The spikes can actually be aligned in three different orientations. I guess depending on the position they are in the shoe will affect footwork.
Henry
I really like the idea of the higher heel in the back as I really believes it not only helps for a proper posture but also generates more distance because you are actually a little taller. This may sound silly but I have a pair of golf boots that I bought a few years ago that I use in the spring when my course is wet. The boot has a 2 inch heel, Its about a half size too big on me. I have 1.5 inch "lifts" that I put into the shoe which makes the golf shoe fit me perfectly. I am only 5'6 but with the heel and lifts that make me about 5'9, I feel I have much better control, posture, and distance with the extra height! Daz
Can anyone advise on the fitting for these shoes Ive heard they are made bigger than standard. I normally take a UK6.5 (EU40) in Nike or Adidas and standard or narrow width. According to the conversion this would be a 25cm but I measured my foot and it 24cm. Should I go 24.5 or 24? Thanks

Should I go 24.5 or 24?Thanks I can tell you that you are definitely not a 24 if you are a EU40. I am a EU39 and I use the Mizuno 24.5 EEE. Measuring the foot is not necessary the best guide since you would be wearing a heavier sport socks. The Asian last is definitely wider. A EEE would be similar to an extra wide in NA standard. [/quote I normally wear a size 11, so based on your experience I should look at the 10.5 size? Also how are these shoes for walking 18 holes? If you're an in between size guy... not sure 10*5, 11 sometimes, you'll probably end up with a 10. They run wide and they extremely comfortable. These shoes are made for walking. They break in quickly and are very durable.
gus
OK I wear US size 8.5/9 and my foot is on the medium width side if not slightly narrower. I own Shingo's Asics and 8.5's are snug and my 9's are a hair big (in between); what would you guys recommend? I'm worried they might be too wide but the Asics are fine from a width standpoint....BB Also how will I go about replacing cleats in the US once they wear out? I would love to order these tonight! BB If the Asics 8.5 are snug, the Mizuno 8.5 will be wider, roomier. You might need a heavier sock. I'd buy the 8.5 I bought a box of "10" sets. LMK and I'll send you a set. These spikes wear at least 2-3 times longer than the regular stingers, black widows etc.
