I played it in the SR flex for a few rounds in the AF102. I loved the combo. Hard kick, smooth acclerating power. I do believe it launched pretty high.

i am gaming the af102 10.5 with the new oban tour proto v430 S. i left it untipped but i am still noticing some spin. i had better results with my 151 w devotion 65 s tipped .5".

i am playing the tour proto 102 combo at 45.5" so i have .5" to trim, not sure if it will make a difference though. dont know if its the shaft, the 10.5* head or both.

just debating on wether to get the di6s or x. the obans play softer to flex due to the fact they can be trimmed.

Spoon,

I played mine for a little bit as it was the stock shaft in my Yamaha V201 Tourmodel. I found it to be too light and was getting too much movement (it was a flex too soft for me as well). I'd say trajectory is mid+ and is more smooth rather than hard kicking. I think I prefer that kind of feel in my fairway woods, along with a thicker face, but in the driver I like a good active feeling stiffer shaft with a hotter face to pair with it. I hit an X-stiff motore f1 today that I thought was pretty decent and it was fairly similar to the DI6 I thought despite being slightly heavier in the low 70g range comboed with a TM Supertri TP.

I think the DI-6 has more feel than the Motore. I didn't have the weight issue with it, felt perfect to me but then again I don't mind playing light shafts.

Try a DI-7 or 8 maybe. We all have different swings.

I played several rounds with the 102 DI-6 SR and like B said it was smooth and hard kicking.

do they play true to flex? im debating between the 65x and the 75s. i could use the extra weight but unsure about the flex. my current shaft on the 102 has too much spin and i dont want to go to a lower lofted driver.

btw saw tiger using the DI in his practice rounds. lets see if it makes it to thursday!
