Today's 1080P TV's are 16:9 aspect ratio and Today Philips announced the soon to be released 3D capable 21:9 TV's.

What you get is more picture from your favorite movies and no it doesn't require specially made movies yet movies shot in 1.85:1 will have black bar's on the side.

This TV is not announced for the U.S yet, my theory on that is people would be pissed about black bars. in Japan 1080P is standard on cable TV now.

It's a 400hz panel also!

damn ! i just set up my entire theater last month B&W 8 series all around, velodyne sub and a pioneer kuros plasma! il

wait a couple of years before i even consider this format.

golf is expensive as it is without these "other" toys:)
