Likely to be genuine? ive been seeing that for weeks. i am not aware of that kind of iron head and i know most of the irons pre type x and these certainly do not fall in that period. i cant say for sure that they are genuine nor fake. ask TSGER or Gocchin. only think indicating that they are epons are the engraving on the hosel.
September 15, 201014 yr The design on the cavity seems similar to the PRGR TR-500s. Curious to know what the text on the cavity reads...
September 15, 201014 yr I just sent Endo Japan an inquiry on these irons, Should have a response in a day or two. My best guess so far is that they are not actual prototypes by Epon. The font for the word EPON is new style yet the model name is 200. Also the finish, face shape, top line curve, and bead blast are nothing like what Epon/Endo usually produces.
September 16, 201014 yr wow they are making fake epons now. whats next? they are also making fake eggs
September 16, 201014 yr Just got confirmation from Epon/Endo that they are 100% fake. i am not surprised. i will report the item in ebay. several guys purchased same heads in the last couple of weeks.
September 16, 201014 yr You know whoever is buying these are getting freakin ripped off. The greatness of Epon is that is made at Endo....NOT CHINA!
September 17, 201014 yr i reported the item in ebay. last one sold for almost $800 and the current bid is $600+ too bad we cannot contact the bidders
September 17, 201014 yr now there are fake wedges with the same font http://cgi.ebay.com/Epon-Forged-Wedges-200-Prototype-Endo-52-56_W0QQitemZ270635493809QQcategoryZ115280QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp3286.m7QQ_trkparmsZalgo%3DLVI%26itu%3DUCI%26otn%3D2%26po%3DLVI%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D5629691103064922016#ht_1270wt_1139
September 19, 201014 yr Always pays to be aware of ebay and other auction sites, as always if the price is too good to be true then it is fake but they are getting smarter and pricing there stuff at close to real and people are getting ripped off. Mate of mine bought a whole set of R9 with bag and scotty putter "brand new" for $1100, 4 rounds in and driver has come loose! My idea is to buy from retailers to start which keeps the industry going then from a few guys either in person or on bst it may cost you a few bucks extra but you are getting value for your money! September 19, 201014 yr I've forced myself to avoid golf equipment on Ebay for this very reason, I support my favorite retailers who go out of there way to offer me a fair price and quality service....BB
September 20, 201014 yr I reported that seller. Everyone who has an ebay account should to save somebody from being ripped off.
September 21, 201014 yr I reported that seller. Everyone who has an ebay account should to save somebody from being ripped off. yeah me too. the irons have been pulled down and are no longer listed.
September 22, 201014 yr They are also for .370" tip shaft. Many more sellers still have these on ebay. One out of Hawaii on there now.
September 26, 201014 yr Ebay can and will always be a crap shoot, I take the time to communicate with the seller and ask for something (anything) that shows me his/her interest in selling legitmate product, if not I will pass...BB Edited September 26, 201014 yr by BigBen
September 27, 201014 yr Well, there are some design elements in it though... I hate fakes, but fakes give me one more excuse when I cannot handle a club... Hahaha
