Posted October 26, 201014 yr comment_162470 I'm looking to buy a new driver head and not sure which head to go for. What I have in mind now is between "Crazy CRZ450" and "Kamui 456". Please feel free to comment or advise for any better head.

October 26, 201014 yr comment_162473 Here in Japan and among our customers the Crazy 435 (445cc) is far more popular than the 450. Both are great drivers (435 vs Kamui 456) and its really more about which fits you. You haven't provided much about your swing or what you are looking for in a driver so it's hard to recommend one or the other.

I'm currently using Katana sword sniper x (black) 8* loft with Roddio W5BA (sr). My swing speed now is around 95-100mph and I hit around 230-250yards. I'm a swinger type of person. The reason I use 8* loft is because I always hit too high and no run for a higher loft. I like the ball run a little bit more. What I'm looking for now is a driver that could help me creating more distance and easy to control. I'll do club fitting again for a new shaft after I get the driver head. It would be super if anyone have any suggestion on the shaft. I'm thinking to try Superio or Quadra shaft.
October 27, 201014 yr comment_162482 The Crazy head is rather low spin and runs a lot. Both the Crazy and Kamui are real loft drivers meaning if you order a 9* it will be 9* actual. There are several players on this forum who use the CRZ-435 with various crazy shafts with great success as well as players who have done great with Kamui and Quadra combos. Both drivers are very good, the Crazy probably spins less but the Kamui has more customization possibilities...
October 27, 201014 yr comment_162485 The Kamui is the best i've hit. Im sure it is due to the fact that it is custom to exactly what i was fitted to. Find what specs will enhance your swing, and go for it.

I'd have to guess that there is some atypical swing mechanics like catching the ball way up on the upslope of the swing to be using an 8* loft with a 95-100mph swingspeed. That said, the CRZ450 is not the easiest driver to hit and launches low. The COG on that driver has to be much higher than the average driver. Because of that, it is an incredibly workable driver in the right hands. The 456 definitely will launch higher than the CRZ450 for same listed loft. My personal impression of hitting these two drivers is that the CRZ450 will have an effective lower loft than listed, and the Kamui 456 higher launch than listed loft.
