Posted November 12, 201014 yr While surfing the internet, I stumbled upon the brand Romaro. Apparantely Made in Japan. They are also rather pricey. Does anyone have any experience with those clubs (woods and irons)? Where are they forged?
November 12, 201014 yr Romaro is a remnant of the defunct Gauge Design Japan. When Gauge went under, some former employees started up Romaro. We had carried their product in the past due to Chris' very close ties with Gauge however we stopped due to their terms and high costs. Chris will know better but Romaro may also be Kyoei made?
November 12, 201014 yr Their new 455 driver is very attractive and great shape. I only had a chance to hit it once but it was the wrong shaft and could not see the performance. Nevertheless, driver head felt good and sounded good. I was told it is a low spin driver hence a long one.

November 12, 201014 yr So, I guess they are not junk? they have done a fair bit of marketing at golf clubs with demos and displays. thier putters are very , expensive, aqll good reports on them , quality sposed to be pretty good. Roma-Ro i think it is actually. was looking at one of thier putters with great interest for awhile, but the cost stopped me.

However IMO i think they are over priced.
