Just got to California from Canada a couple weeks ago. Until today, I hadn't hit a ball in over 6 weeks.

Quickly... about myself: I'm about 6 3 1/2", 210lbs... about a 10HC. I've always been able to hit the ball a long ways... distance has never been a problem for me. Solid contact, control and not looking like a complete Ape while swinging the club has been, however.

I'm a pretty hardcore club junkie/putter junkie, and i've tried pretty much every high-end shaft and driver combo out there. NOTHING... let me repeat - no setup I have ever tried has outshone everything else more than the Crazy CRZ-435 with the Crazy Black 50 shaft.

Today was only the second time i've used it and again, it proved to me that how well it performed 6 weeks ago wasn't a fluke. I hit, easily, the longest balls of my life (at a driving range) last time and today was no different. Best of all, it's almost hard not to hit this thing straight. I know these are famous last words in the golfing world but I absolutely can not say enough about this setup. And this is coming from a guy who actually hates the company. Truly! I think the name Crazy is stupid and lame, their graphics and designs suck, they charge a ton for their drivers and don't even include a head-cover with them, their customer service was very slow (in my experience) and they make zippos.... also stupid in my opinion. However, with that being said, you absolutely cannot deny that their products are incredibly good.

I was at the SandPiper course in Santa Barbara today and a couple of the guys who work there told me later that I was hitting balls consistently over the 16th fairway (from the range), which they told me is 375yrds plus. Like I said, i've always been long off the tee, very long, but this setup is consistently longer and straighter than anything i've ever used...... and it's not close.

HIGHLY HIGHLY recommended.

Thanks to Gocchin at TSG for putting me in the direction of this setup.

Ma ma Mia, i hope i had enough power to hit those things. There is a shop here that are having sale on those crazy shafts however they do not stock complete range... otherwise i will be hopping my way there like a little bunny.

I am very much thinking about this combo - I am 6'3" and about 230 pounds and my hcap is 9 and I have been looking for a driver that wants to be hit straight but more importantly takes the left out of play. I hit the ball long (although nowhere near as mental long as you do) but I am looking for that ultimate combo.

You have me very interested on this combo!!

I would say money is the only reason anyone should not go with this combo. But if you have the dough to spend on it, it's a no brainer man... seriously.

Is the combo you mention avail through the TSG Proshop? I see the shaft...not the head.

The driver is in the shop as well: http://www.tourspecgolf.com/Crazy-CRZ-435-Longest-Yard-TJ-46-Driver

Honestly, almost everyone who has got one has loved it and seen distance improvment.

It especially excels for the faster and harder swinger and may independent reviewers in Japan rate it as the longest driver bar none.

Several customers who swing over 115mph have seen gains of 20+ yards on their drives. Yeah I wish I could swing that fast as well!

It's the first driver/shaft combo i've ever used that really does stand out above everything else. Gary Gooden (Goodsie, on here) might have helped ensure that is does by his proprietary tuning of the club, too.

Well I think ur pretty spot on

I got it with the crazy jt-46 shaft 7.7

And I can turn my hands over ias hard as I like with out snapping it ,i get a beautiful small draw. Super low launch runs for ever . i was stoked when i hit this.

i dont thnks feel wise, its as nice as other top dogs , im using

the yamaha 2011 tour-- quadrra fire 75xs.

2010 tour yamaha-- diamana stinger 70x...

2010 yamaha tour tphhd matrix...

2010 yamaha v 201 -- stinger 70s ...

and epon 102 --stinger 70x

2008 yamaha v --graphite design p 9003x

thats my weaponry for 4 weeks of chrissy golf and i think the jbeam is the most solid of all of these.................................

and that a HUGE statement.

I'm using it into wind.at Nsw and all the links Courses and it s the best performer .

Yes its long I don't have a monitor. But I can Def. see its humongous. my shgots are slicing thru the air and rolling another 20 + yards in comp im only using this now.

Its got a spot for ever in my bag I'm loving this.

The feel I can equate to miura as against epon

I like the soft feel when everything feels like butter. The j beam is more solid , i can see why long drivers would use this club. mines plays at45.5 inch and I grip right down and swing for the fences On every shot, i havnt blown up one shot yet its a brilliant driver . its aLOT more expensive than the others, a lot more but ...................,

It's easily the best driver i've ever used. The only thing I don't like is the feel. It's kind of just whatever..

exactly........ how do u describe it ?

its kinda mute really , just chk chk kaboooooooooooooooooooooom...............!

u hit it and go hmmmph well yea whatever. then walk to where the ball is and go f....k me!

i used it agn today in blustery cons. at Long reef and blew the course apart on the drive. in pertty long off the tee, (nothing special and certainly , nothing like Mjr D , but i dont think many humans on earth are! )i, but was hiting to inside 90 on par 4s and on the par 5 9th admittadly with the SWesterly at my back i hit the driver to 145 yards out i, i have NEVER been anywhere near this befoire, on fri in comp i hit to 195 out and took the egg spoon today i hit a long 7 iron over the flag...... it plays 495 i was beyond belief. the ball must have rolled 40 odd yards. and didnt go above shoulder height. its 9.5* im seriously thinking of shelling out everything else excpet the epon stinger bec that just the bestr feeling club EVER constructed. and 1 yamaha.....(just in case.!) and whats more the crazy aint even got the kahuuuuuna black 80 LS shaft in it. lord knows what wil happen when that puppy goes in it.

oh, its REDICULOUSLY low launch, so if u need to make the ball soar , fahgetabout iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit..........................!

that why ill keep the yamaha and the epon,

cost................. thast the only thing here cost ( but if you wanna driver that hits fariways and dont need carry then its worth it folks, seriously)

i just picked up a crazy black 425 tour with a black 80 ls 7.7. shaft in a 10.5* head.

got back from the range a few mins ago, and my heads still spinning.

the look is a little daunting, small head compact at address, slightly exagerated convex look to it , like all the small tour heads have .

but its a MILE easier to hit than every other tour head ive ever hit. and i manage to find a lot of these tour mumblers.

this is the first hit back from my golfathon in oz and i was in fine fettle .

i hit a million balls again, and dozens with each driver.

i also took the yamaha tour 9* - quadra 75xs

and the crazy 435 9.5* TJ-46 7.7

the 425 played to 44.5 inch and a ilittle light i think its 318 gram

looked a little short at first especially against the 435 at 45.5but................................,

i was smashing the daylights of of the back left hand side of the net at nishi kasai 250 out by a MILE. and i would have gotten plenty of run out.

the black 80 is MILES better than the TJ-46 i think.

the 435 tj 46 is so low and runs for ever, its utterly brilliant into strong wind , and on grass u get roll out of, not the kind of stuff here in JAPAN we play on very much, its pretty much all carry here. im thinking where to best use the 435 combo now actually. (shishido hills rings a bell) need low tight running driver here

that ryoma i hit a few weeks ago, might be as long, maybe even longer and it felt good with the stinger in it , really good, good enough to buy for sure, but. this is better!

the feel of this driver is still muted ,esp VS the quadra. but its a weird mute, im struggling to describe it accurately.

the crazy 80 is felt more in yr hands, arms and shoulder s , all at once, smooth but incredibly solid .

the quadra is felt in yr fingers with a ping , zing alive snap to it. ! off the middle the quadra cannons and the crazy catapaults.

its totally different feel , BOTH are simply outta this world, the crazy set up tho.for me.., just rediculous. absolutely love it.

i gotta game this first to prove it , but this was magnificent at the range in FREEZING conditions.

oh and i hit this a lot better than the others, more consistanly more a mid flight than the 435 and oodles of carry and it would have run for miles. plus i was turning it over ever so slightly , perfectly.

im off to the crayzy factory to get a fitting done.

consider me converted now.
