there is a set for sale here and am wondering if they are mid-sized or standard...for reference i would consider the bridgestone J36 as standard and the J38 as mid-sized..

am really looking for some mid-sized ones...

thanks for any replies..

From memory bout the same size as the J36. I have not seen the J38 in person though.

I sympathize.

First, what constitutes midsize ? The eye 2 was considered a very large club until the advent of the Callaway X 12 and the succeeding bretherin. Since then the eye 2 has the look of being midsize to my eyes. I understand you have some old callaways.

Is it possible for you to ask the seller to photograph the club head against and beside a straightedge and send that photo to you ? You could then measure your old callaways and have a frame of reference.

I would have asked the seller to photograph the club against another club but the seller might not have one you are familiar with.

The photo should be taken 90* to the club to show size rather than beauty, and front and back are important for identification purposes.

Email is fast and cheap.

thanks for the reply but i don't really want to inconvenience the seller...

i would consider the current pings and callaways mid-sized.....am looking for heads slightly longer than my previous bridgestone J36...

i also have the older tourstage V7000s which i would consider mid-sized...
