  1. i know this is a long shot but i am looking for the matching 7-wood for my giga xf-II 4-wood in R flex.. it has a mitsubishi rayon shockwave graphite shaft... if these are no longer available i will consider any other giga 7-wood with similar specs... thank you for reading this and for any replies.. PS..pls email me at [email protected] for any replies..
  2. i just got a mint condition set of these irons 5-P with inpres mx-6061 graphite shafts and would like to know more about them.. ...when were they introduced?...are they endo forged?...are they still conforming?...plus any other relevant info... ...thank you for reading this and for any replies..
  3. i have a set of all original graphite shafted tourstage V7000 irons(4-P,P/S) which i got from ebay in almost mint condition about 2 years ago for about $250 and it is one of the best feeling irons i have owned... i found another set available locally in poor condition and it was selling for more than $500...
  4. soft feeling is soooooo... subjective.. even hard cast irons can feel soft with low compression balls.... i use the bridgestone B330RX ball exclusively and although i haven't tried the epons my old tourstageTZ101s and V7000s really felt soft when hit properly... i now use the adams V3 forged and they are also soft---but then they have all of those high tech vibration dampening stuff!!
  5. ...i just found out that giga is a korean company and not japanese....
  6. i recently acquired a giga xf07 titanium driver in 10* loft with mamiya OP hex axle high modulus graphite S shafts in brand new condition in a close-out sale from a local distributor at a bargain price.. total mass weight is 286 grams.. i realize this is a 2007 model club but since i was looking for ultralite sub-300 gram drivers it fit the bill.. i have yet to take it to the course--will do that this sunday--but was hitting range balls pretty well.. i would appreciate any reviews from those who have tried it.. thank you for any replies..
  7. is there any way i can re-groove these irons to make them conforming?
  8. my tourstage V7000s also have a reverse offset which i found a bit disconcerting...in the beginning.. i hit them so well now that they are my main gamers....i guess i just get used to it after a while..
  9. i am currently using the above forged irons for my social/casual rounds but am liking them so much i intend to use them for more serious amateur tournaments.. i plan to join more local and national senior amateur events(am 65) which are always run using USGA/R & A rules and are also used as the basis for selecting our senior teams representing our country in international events.. although they are close to 10-year old models i have not found any of the newer models which can out perform them--for me.. i got them in mint condition last year and the V7000s are 4-P,P/S with stock 64 gm graphite R shafts and the 53*/58* wedges have precision 5.5 steel shafts.. all the clubs have "bridgestone" identically stamped in the hosels and i presume they are manufactured and forged in japan.. will they be legal for the events i plan to join?.....thanks for any replies..
  10. thanks for the reply but i don't really want to inconvenience the seller... i would consider the current pings and callaways mid-sized.....am looking for heads slightly longer than my previous bridgestone J36... i also have the older tourstage V7000s which i would consider mid-sized...
  11. there is a set for sale here and am wondering if they are mid-sized or standard...for reference i would consider the bridgestone J36 as standard and the J38 as mid-sized.. am really looking for some mid-sized ones... thanks for any replies..
  12. thanks guys...any one know the tip diameter shafts i should get?
  13. i am awaiting my Z101 iron heads from #2 iron to PW and am planning to reshaft them with graphite.. what shafts should i order...parallel or taper tipped?? thanks for any replies...
