Thanks in advance. epon 302, 502, kyoei range fantastic. onoff. theres a start . not much better then those. read tarios blog on his iron cavity "shoot out" last yr, a sensational synopsys on clubs as good as anything ull lfind anywhere. its on his blog site. Spoon Posted January 25, 2011 Report Share Posted January 25, 2011 wow i dont even know where to begin.. very fact you stumbled into the site leads me to assume your preference is for Japanese domestic gear? if thats the case you are definetely in the right direction! what is your preference in a cavity back? what is your handycap? pretty much all the brands supo67 are spot on, ofcourse you have your own preferences and different brands shapes will appeal to you more than others.. Spoon Posted January 25, 2011 Report Share Posted January 25, 2011 Hey guys, I stumbled to this site after googling "TM Burner Forged" and boy was I pleasantly surprised to find so many more choices. I'm currently a 12 index and wanted something more forgiving/long since it's going to be my first forged irons. Since I'm new to the market I was leaning towards Taylormade and Titleist Japan only irons but I would love to learn more about the other options out there. I prefer my first forged to be in cavity backs. Thanks! read the blog mentioned by the above poster. www.golftoimpress.com there is a section head to head shootout for the best brands of japanese gear. once you have a taste for jspec exotica, its hard to get out. your doing the right thing by doing your research. I would throw Yamaha into the mix & I've read that Tourstage makes some damn good irons as well.
