bogeydog
The events of the past 24 hours and the unknown issues of the future are testing the core strengths and values of every person involved. Living here in the US near Washington DC, where natural disasters are common, but largely uneventful, it hits home when our friends and there family undergo such turmoil. I am not sure of everyones names and the their whereabouts in Japan, however I bet that someone close to someone is struggling. Our heart goes out to you and your family and friends. I would like to say hang it there, but that sounds so cliche, but I guess it is what is true. Now, as a human race, we need to somehow pull together, drop the boxing gloves and lend a hand and heart to each other. I feel hopeless sitting here. I have my family safe. I can kiss my wife, hug my kids, and pet my dogs. Many can't. With the unknown fallout from the nuclear reactor, times may become tougher. Damn. I am not sure what can be done. I pray that somehow they will move people out and away from harms way. Just know that we are with you in your journey and share your pain as much as possible, even though we are so far away. skippercarey
I was listening to a nuclear expert today on tv and he recons they still have it under control to the point that there is zero threat on human lives, something like you have to stand outside the front gates for 50 days to equate to the normal radiation levels you would recieve in a normal year. But there are a lot of conflicting reports coming out from the various media stations, lets hope hes right
FatMan
B has pretty much summed it up. I've read & re-read this countless of times today & I was left with a loss of words on how to express me & my family's concern & support to everyone affected. Our heartfelt wishes & prayers go out to all of you! Try to stay strong through these trying times.
