Anyone know? Which is the superior head in your opinion?

It depends really, both are so similar. The 425 tour is a bit more compact and has a slightly smaller head size but otherwise they feature the same technology design and materials.

The main differences are CG placment, the 425 Tour is slightly higher but quite a bit more shallow resulting in an even more penetrating ball flight.

The 435 is already low but the 425 is even lower.

The 425 is also a touch flatter.

Feel is probably close to identical.

JBeam 425 head arrived yesterday 10* Quadra Fire Express Proto 75X is whats i will be shafting with, first impresions are definatly more compact than the Epon 102..............and boy it looks sexy at address, i would rate it one of the best looking heads i have seen. Cant wait to get this bad boy on the course, i will give further updates next week once its back from the club fitter

I would think stew would be the best man to ask on comparisons between the 435 and 425 i think hes had quite a few of these

the jbeams are very well known for their long driving attributes.

i have a lot of japanese friends locally who swear by these heads, usually

shafted with an ultralight shaft played at 46"

i consider these very exotic and have been wanting to try these for the

longest time. @skip, good combo with the quadra protox. let us know

how it goes. that has the potential to be a bazooka on roids

yea my 425 tour is 10.5*with a black 80 7.7 and its low,ish i think its the perfect trajectory thats shaft is low any way

i was surprised at the shots i was getting. thought it might be high but no siree.

the 9.5* 435 tj46 7.7 s lower tho and straighter, thats the most straight shooter ive ever hit almost impossible to turn over

the 425 i played only once so far in a game and totally killed it, hit a cpl of my bigest ever shots i did get this to turn over

the 435 combo feels more solid and has more juice and a ton more roll out

the 425 is more workable and i feel a more rounded performer

the 435 is totally about cannoning theres NO way the ball gets above head high its a bit daunting .

its the best driver by a mile into the winds, in oz was easily my first choice in comp.bec its just dead straight.

i need to play the 425 more to make a more accurate call on it ,

buti was super impressed with it on the range every time ive hit it

the feel with the black is a bit more lively than the tj46

but when ever i play at the tourny tracks in japan this yr ill be playing the 435 guaranteed.

they come in 2 faces the silver and a smoky grey . the silver is almost impossible to come accross

im dying to hear what skip says about it .

the feel is pretty similar but ithink the 435 is more solid.

they both dont have that epon yamaha fell to them but then agn when usee where the ball is who gives a .....,

the shape is quite square compared to the epon 102

i dont have a preference to eiither of these heads. they are horeses for courses in my book

if uwant to move the pill abit more than outright canoooooooooooooooooooooooooooning it into the abyss yonder , then get the tour head
