Mjr. D
I ordered a custom made set of Gold's Factory wedges.. they're beautiful, feel good and are easy to use, however, on chips, they definitely DO NOT spin as much as Epon or Vokey wedges. I've done numerous tests with all types of flagship balls (Penta, Pro V's, B330, Tour IX, Srixon XV, etc). On full shots, they spin well, but on pitch and chips..... i'm not impressed. In your experience, without a doubt, which wedge spins the most? Epon KGX wedges spun the most for me, followed by an older model Tourstage X wedge I believe it was. FrankThong
The Miura k-grind (non-conforming, I suspect) spins like crazy but generally, I find Miura wedges harder to hit than the Epons. Don't know why.

Epon spins heaps and i have to agree on the Vokey they are huge in the spin department especially the old grooves, the vokeys are my no1 choice at the moment 58* low bounce 8* and m grind seems to work really well on the couch grass, but come winter i might need a bit more bounce
EPONfreak
Same here Bill, I'm using the 208 in 55* & 60* and also a Vokey tour issue SM hand ground 254 that you can cut your fingers on the grooves!

Mjr D, did you order any particular grind with the golds?

Spoon
i used to be a wedge addict and my favorite were always the raw shins and raw kyoeis. those were really really sharp and spun the ball crazy. right now im back to a 50 208kgx and 56 mystery raw wedge. the 208s are rather underrated but spin the ball crazy. if they had a non conforming 210 that would be perfect. have reshafted my dg tour issues with the new dg spinner shaft non + version. supposed to lower trajectory and increase spin by 750-100 rpm. let us see
