Hi all, I've been looking at possibly getting a set of these. Has anyone tried them, and if so, how would they compare with, say, Epon 502's?

they are custom built by the tour department of Onoff so they must be good. only

problem for me is the looks, i cannot get passed the tungsten thing, it actually looks

like a hackers set of sticks. i much prefer the onoff forged + gocchin posted in his blog

a few weeks ago.

when i think of labospec i think of the cb247 or anything in the lines of a players CB,

the Rb seems to be following a different philosophy.

They take a few weeks because they are made to order. Many here have a set on order. I ordered mine with the 120g Stiff graphite shafts in custom white finish and black grip along with the Shingo Utility wood.

I can't imagine anything beating the new version ONOFF forged, but these are supposed to be even more forgiving and still appeal to the player who wants minimal offset and a more playeresque profile.

No feedback yet because they are being built for our customers but soon you can expect to see them landing at TSG customers doorsteps.

They have been available in Japan for some time and quite popular.

As for the tungsten weighting, you really can't see it at all on the RB247 as it is inner tungsten unlike the red which takes up the full sole and even the forged which the back part of the sole.

Quite a forgiving leading edge.

Looks better from this angle. The sole width though is quite wide.

T while were on the topic why is it called rb247? And what is the significance of 247?

I ask because there is a playeresque cb 247 and bladed mb247.

T, your old OnOff with Roddio are still working fine for me even though they are not forged. While I am not using them daily, I just cannot bring myself in selling them, The Raddio I-6 is great.

Roddio Iron shafts are wonderful and even the non forged ONOFF feel pretty darn good.

ENJOY GOLF 247 = 24/7 around the clock 7 days a week.

Simply put and very appropriate.

B, I am hitting the 2010 Yamaha 4 wood well in Canada the past week and would probably get the new 2011 (with twin rails) 4 wood or the new JDM Titleist 910F 17* when I go back next weekend.
