supo
this weekend i palyed twice on the same course,in similar conditions, moist and windy pretty much covers it. i wasnt playing the usual suspects so i cud bag what i wanted. had about 27 clubs in the bag yesterday. was playing really well, scoring very well, so i was hitting my driver long and strong both days. got a really good understanding of how they all play now , fresh in my mind heres a cpl of mental notes jbeam 435--- crazy cb 80 jbeam 425 tour---crazy 80 yamaha tour 425---bangvoo crazy 460---- crazy 50 stigma ryoma v spec.----crazy 80 cb noir epon 102---quadra proto i played a cpl of drivers each 9 then switched. makes it much better to test out in match cons under pressure. the lowest flight was the j beam 435. by a way highest was the crazy 460 most solid at impact was dead close but when i really yahooed into one , its hard to best the j beam 435 . the best off miss hits was the ryoma esp off the toe the diffence is staggering! the best looking at address is the crazy 460 the hardest to hit consistantly is the yamaha tour. the best "feeling" was the epon 102 and yamaha tour hard to split the longest consistantly was the j bean 425 tour, the drivers i think i can bag with utmost confidence every time are the jbeam 425 tour and ryoma. although i prefered to hit the crazy 460 . and the epon 102 they won be bagged when the coins on any longer. obv the shafts makes a monumental diffence but at this end of the scale , they are all pretty tight and equal. its the heads i was most concerned about. Blader-X
"Twenty-seven clubs in the bag." You'd need this guy to carry them all! Just watch out for the club police. 27 clubs in the bag. You're a madman Stew! I'm trying to picture that in my head and how one could possibly get all that to fit into one bag.
supo
4 drivers. the kasco 3w 3w 5w 5w 7 irons 4 utes 4 wedges 4 putters ahhhhhhhhhhhh 28 clubs and i dont play them all together i leave the spare bag at the clubhouse and swap around after 9 only way i get to play all my goodies! occasionally my playing partner and i declare a free bag round where we can bag what we want. love those rounds this sun .were playing shishido hills which is the japaan open course ,they had the tourny there last weeekend, so they leave it in tourny set up for a week for anyone mad enough to take it on. -6 won it this yr, ryo ishikawa shot 77-83! im backing ifi shoot 90 it wil be a good score. this will be a 14 club round from the tips at 7400 yards. already going thru the best set up to tackle this beast now thats madness!
