pmn1
Hello everyone I am a newbe to the site and to playing Japanese equipment. I am a average weekend duffer but I feel the equipment we play can make the game less frustrating and more fun. I have been reading some of the past posts regarding equipment and It seems that alot of you who post are better golfers. I was wondering if those of you that have played both US and Japanese equipment have an opinion on whether the benefits of the Japanese equipment is more pronounced for the better golfer or would all golfers benefit from the quality and innovation that the Japanese clubs seem to offer? bogeydog
Everyone that likes quality, innovation, and rarity. Even good and bad shots feel better with JDM equipment.
Duffer19
As a matter of fact, thats not true. Most JDM brands cater more to regular duffers like the rest of us than pro or low handicappers. Take Yamaha irons, while a lot of discussion here centered on the V Forged and V forged tour, the largest selling model would be the D Black and D Steel which are game improvement models and so is the OnOff Red, the XXIO non forged. If you want to go Epon, you can pick the 701 and 702 instead of the 5 series.
+TourSpecGolfer
Yamaha D Steel is totally my vote!
