Posted July 4, 201113 yr Recently got a Ryoma V-spec on a crazy CB46 - the hype was all true !!! made a huge difference to both length & forgiveness. Now looking for a strong fairway wood 14 deg that can gimme the wow factor similar to the ryoma. Currently gaming a Titliest 910f13 deg with crazy fw50 sigma. Looking through the forum discussions, the 3 that consistently come out tops are : royal collection trc, egg spoon & yamaha impres. Not sure if i can play the egg spoon - the scooped out back wont be easy on my eye. Any suggesrions / views? Only play my faiway off the deck not for drives. Thks

Thks The yamaha and the RC are for the better player, deep faced cannons. The egg is very easy to hit off the fw, but based On what younsaid the RC and the yamaha may be the way to go.
July 4, 201113 yr Playing off the deck primarily means low profile. I have not tried the yamaha but the egg is very easy off the deck. I have tried both egg models. Just as important is the shaft. What flex did you end up with cb46?
July 4, 201113 yr RC give u plenty of options , they have so many different styles theres guaranteed to be one thats perfrct. the yamaha is utterly superb. if u like slightly deeper faces. eggs form a fairway unbeatable, but the shallow face isnt for everyone.

For the fairway, got the FW50 sigma 7.7.

With th ryoma crazy combo driver now, i have a better chance on getting my par 5s in twos in my home course ( ave 530 yrds ). My current set up of titliest 910f 13 deg + fubuki ax gives me the length but not the accuracy. Got the fw50sigma shaft, want a head that gives me the forgiveness. Egg spoon reads the best but not sure if i can handle the look. Recall having a cleveland driver with a carved up back few years back, never got over the shape.
July 5, 201113 yr Rc. 304 t from yr or so ago o the uber trusty bbd range gamed my 304p agn today jeeeeeez rhey are good pit em anywhere u want Hard to pass up
July 5, 201113 yr i wish i had your ability to hit those launchers off the deck. its not like i dont have the SS, Just find those deep faced cannons too much to handle.
July 5, 201113 yr the rcs i dont htink are deep at all. its only next to the eggs etc that they look pretty big. the rcs are very small and compact, they pack a mean punch.

I guess you have a point, Im using a 17 ping g15 4wood and the thing looks so skinny and Malnourished compared to the rcs. Pretty funny
July 6, 201113 yr Don't forget to add the Yonex Ezone or Nextage to the party. I currently game the Nextage 15 18 and 21 and am quite fond of them. Will be testing out the TRC to see if it can supplant the Yonex...
