Eca
I also came from KBS tour in stiff. I went R+ HS once and It's working great. Lower launch, same KBS smooth feel & sexy satin stepless shaft.

JMCMB
I believe when he says HS he means Hard stepped, hard stepping a regular flex would make it play in between R and S, you could also soft step shafts which makes them play about a half flex softer. Hard stepping is installing a higher numbered shaft into a lower numbered head, for example, 5i shaft into a 4i, soft stepping is the reverse. landshark
slightly off the topic, but i currently play nippon ns pro 950 in stiff. higher flight than what is probable ideal. how much lower would going to the original kbs tours give me, as well as do you think they would be any longer? I moved from px6.0 to kbs tours 2 yrs ago. Kbs tours gives better feedback, flys high & mighty. Its harder to control tho with the height. I hv played one round with my new kbs tour c-taper. Better trajectory & control compared to the old kbs tours. Did not notice difference in length. Recently bought TRC RC utes that came with nipp 950s. My old utes are on kbs tour shaft. Feels like i have lost distance.........then again could be the head or just me needing to get used to it.
Eca
Same exp as Chanaa, loved the KBS tour feel but but for me it's high launch. There are players this will suit. For me C Tapers is better suited. If you're coming from Nippon 950 stiff, you could follow suit as going str8 stiff is in the 120g class. If weight is no issue then go str8 stiff although most s300 & PX 5.5 user has to Soft step a stiff once to come to same cpm.
landshark
the weight of the kbs tours would pretty much match up with nippon 1050 or 1150. is there much difference in flight and feel between similar weighted nippon and kbs? NS Pro Will be fly higher, softer feel, KBS will fly lower and has a firm er feel.
