Spoon
I love driving irons, I actually hit them much better off the tee and from the fairway. My trusty 901 has been with me for over 2 years and safe , go to club extrodinaire On difficult and narrow tracks. I'm looking for an 18. There is the srixon z uti, yonex zero iron and the RC. Was wondering How the RC would compare to the srixon? Srixon has a lot of reviews but the RC has none. Let me know guys, I'm getting one just in case my epon 902 crazy ute combo doesnt work. Just thinkin ahead
JMCMB
Srixon is by far the best driving iron I have ever played C..... Nothing even close.... if you decide you wanna stick with the Epon driving iron I have a 19' that I never use I would send ya on the cheap. If I was going to try something else besides the Srixon it would be the Fourteen or the Yonex, leaning towards the Fourteen, The RC doesn't really do it for me, but honestly, unless another driving iron comes out that blows me away, I'm gonna stick with the Srixon... You know how rare it is for me not to wanna try everything mate, that's really just how good the Srixon is, feels perfect, very soft for a driving iron, and performs wonderfully, long, low/mid trajectory and VERY workable, sets up great, the finish on it is awesome, and the laser milling on the face is great.... It actually makes me consider giving a set of Srixon irons a go. You know exactly what shaft I'm gonna suggest it with ;) lol J.

Yup I know exactly what your saying.the srixs have such stellar reviews its quite difficult to ignore. Might defintely pick one up soon. That zero iron has got me baffled ever since it was announced. A 16* monster it would be off the tee, only thing holding me back is it's rather poor reviews from several Members here at the golf show. U know what, I'm actually hoping my epon 902 doesn't work so I can have a crack at this. As much as I would Love to try the crazies in the d irons, I just love steel so much. The shimada lites in em are soooo fun.
JMCMB
C, if you love the 902 with the Crazy ute I'm gonna send ya my Srixon 19' w/ Crazy ute to try out as temptation... HA!, and if you don't love it I'll wind up being long a Crazy ute shaft and possibly an 18' Epon 902 ;) I honestly don't know much about the Yonex, the shape looks great to me because it sets up more like an iron than others do, but beyond that..... The little I hear about it is average.... J.

As for the zero iron, you remove ryo from the equation and it would be a hard sell. Is your srix 18 or 19? How is it off the deck?
JMCMB
19', I order all of my driving irons in 19'..... My distance with a 19' driving iron is consistent with a 2 iron or a 20' ute, and when I bag the driving iron I'm bagging it instead of a 2 iron or a ute, that's def what's most important to me when rotating or switching around clubs, keeping my yardage gaps consistent.... An 18' would be nice to tee off with in the wind, but it would be a bit long off the deck and would screw with my gaps a bit and I would have to adjust the rest of my bag.... The Srixon is very, very solid and pure off the deck, feel is fantastic, it goes the the turf very well, and hitting off the deck is where i really appreciate the laser milled face most.... I've even had alot of success with it outta long fairway bunkers when I don't need to get it up quickly or clear a lip, this club just performs, and bit performs well.... J.
