stevopagolf
Anyone get their Ryoma Fairway woods yet? How are they? Super forgiving and long? How about a comparison to the Egg Spoon. Will find it hard to believe they could be better. Though the Ryoma Driver I have is the best I have hit. Most consistent for sure. Thanks! I'm open to suggestions

I'm open to suggestions Fex proto 65S Fw or GD route would go DI7s or DJ series since you love the Dis in your other woods. personally im going for either a DI8s or a 9003S as i already have these idle shafts doing nothing at home. I'm open to suggestions A friend had this DI-6 on the current egg. I got an ilima 80s on my Egg (prev model) and always preferred the heavier shaft but this DI-6 absolutely performed and it was untipped.. I was expecting no control etc but this just mesmerized me. Then he pulled it out and put a crazy 80fw which he loves but i didnt lol. Told him to put the DI-6 on the F3 and if he doesn't like it then I might have to get if off him lol. Di6s in my driver that was just too high launch and spinny , maybe a di7s In the woods. I like the dj option as well. However after trying a cb80 7.7 in a driver yesterday I am considering the crazy route Dor the ryoma. Just don't know which one.

I was just so surprised with the DI-6. It was the same shaft he had on a driver and didnt really think much of it then but on the egg it came alive. Maybe DI-7 is a better compromise. My current Old Egg with ilima performs. It is a much heavier config that the rest of my bag & more of match with my Adams classic driver. It is the best i ever had but always have to really focus coz the timing/tempo is so different to the rest (static and swingweight is heavy) Maybe Sigma for you for a heavier class? My experience of the FW80 (Gian11 had the 6.2 & 6.9) was not right and i cant put a finger to it. kinda felt dull/lifeless. Maybe i need a 7.4 since the CB46 7.2 in the driver is right on? The dj has more spin and was designed for those who wanted more spin than the di. Works great in fairways. I think the di7 for you. For woods sigma 50 7.4 or cb fw80 in 7.4 as well. Like my fairways a touch softer than my drivers which Are approx. 7.7-7.
gocchin
Ryoma F3 F5 F7 F9 FW's began shipping earlier this week, those who wanted head only should have them soon. Custom built ones (which are most of them) are being built now. F2 is released after all the other heads and we are still waiting on those. idrive
Well... mine is head only so might see it soon. I have a GD MD sitting here in another 3 wood that I've decided to install. If that doesn't work I'll pull the Crazy FW80 out of the Egg and try. Something tells me this MD is going to work really well. Goodsie has pur/flo'd the shaft already so I'm going to have my local guy install. I can promise it will be done the day I get it and I'll be headed right to the course with it. Should be just a few more days....
idrive
My 3 wood is here and will b practicing Weds. and Thurs. with it, playing Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Full review next Monday. Shafted with a GD MD6 Stiff. She is a beauty, much more shallow than I was expecting.... quite long heel to toe. Kinda reminds me of the egg spoon looking at the face profile. From address looks pretty average/standard. I don't think it's going to be difficult getting the ball airborne. Sits and looks great. Sitting the club down you can feel this thing is going to be very solid.

idrive
I'll have them up tomorrow night. Will compare the egg and Kamui for reference as well. My first impression was this is not someones 1st choice if wanting this as your off the tee club. At least you won't be teeing it up much. This thing looks like it was made to pick ball off the fairway.

gocchin
A customer of ours Allen just received his F3 F5 and F7. I had them fit for him with Crazy Longest Yard FW Evolution shafts in 6.4 - R flex. He just sent me an email which I got his permission to post here since he's not a member of the forum. "Wow tario I just received the ryoma fw I can't believe the launch I'm getting from them! I've been notorious for hitting low stingers. I tried out the ryomas I'm launching them so high now and I've easily gained 15 yards in distance easily! I was only landing my taylormade 3 wood 185-190 and only sometimes rolling it to 200. Today at the range with the ryoma I was easily almost 8 out of 10 shots landing them 200-205 wit a crazy launch angle. Let me just say I'm really happy with these clubs. Can't wait to try out the new driver. One more thing I forgot to tell you is even on my miss hit either off the toe or heel I'm barely losing any distance its amazing. I know distance doesn't mean much as accuracy but for short hitters like me 15 yard gains makes getting birdies or pars on long par 4s a lot easier." After getting his email I cannot wait to get one myself. (yeah I did not order one yet!)
