gbs
Had my new baby installed the day before and driving range session yesterday night. I was initially disappointed as all my ball either had big slice or big fades. i thought hey this should be forgiving . as i grew more frustrated the worst the ball went. Should i stick to my temporary driver set up ??? ( i bought a T series R11 matched it with Miyazaki black 61 S ) what i didn't like was that it was all carry but no roll but accurate as hell. nuff said. after 100 balls. i finally found my tempo gripped it down a little and off the L'll B@#tard went. smile on my face began to show. i finally realised the D3 SW was too much . didn't like to grip it down too much. went to the fitters straight after and cut down by 1.5mm SW down to D2. Today had it on the course (9holes just before work) all perfect. SW was spot on. perfect ball flight no ballooning and big +++ the ball rolled big big smile on my face. all my balls landed on the short stuff. overall results :) big big smile. gocchin
He could not resist and got the CRZ460! B I think you are better off with the lower swing weight and shorter length. A higher swing weight and a shaft that is not tight enough can cause control issues as the shaft loads more with balance towards the head and can also unload more quickly. Of course a lot depends on your swing. The 460 is a great distance driver and not to mention it looks great.
supo
put the crazy shaft in the crazy head.... heres a little lesson i leared the hard and expensve way...., crazy heads LOVE crazy shafts. so much so the others just dont cut the mustard. from my experiments..., the best shaft in the jbeam 435 is the longest yard 01 the best shaft in the crazy 460 is the sigma 50 the best shaft in the crazy 425 tour is the crazy 80 the best shaft in the cray 435 II is hte superlongest yard. there MUST be somehting to this as the other shafts ive tried are all super top enders. I think i would reduce it down a little bit again. but again as stew advised i will put in the CB 46 just for the heck of it. He has gone through the hard way ;P
valante
B, can you express hows the attas 3 perform? i didnt have love with it at all.... i was waited that shaft for a good 2 months to get it in my hand just to be disappointed..... havent try cb46 but if its perform like cb40 then the kick will be more "lively" on crazy shaft..... I thought you would have put a Crazy in the first place as well.
