Robb40
My Ryoma vpec adventure is over. For several reasons it did not work out. I currently game a Ping G20 Kiyoshi combo that is solid but just not long enough. Is the Crazy 460 a bomber with forgiveness? Will it handle other shafts or must it be a crazy/crazy combo? An eBay seller has them for $713 plus shipping and I am tempted. Thoughts from real users. Please don't ask about the Ryoma, it still hurts that it was not a match. bogeydog
Yes we must ask. What was wrong with the Ryoma? What did and didn't it do? Shaft?
sandee11
Let me guess, too much spin?wasn't gaining any distance?

Thank you for noting that someone else actually has a lower advertised price than us. You are more than welcome to email me for a better price. I'm pretty confident we can beat ANYONE'S Crazy prices considering we are their International dealer plus one of their top 3 accounts in Japan. As for the 460 vs the Ryoma it is no more forgiving than the Ryoma. The Ryoma is probably one of the most forgiving drivers anywhere. The 460 shares similar design characteristics but the sweet spot on the Ryoma is unmatchable. For most players the Ryoma spins rather low and plays pretty true to loft. If it did not fit you it could very well be the shaft as the CB46 has a pretty specific profile. The 460 will spin higher and launch higher but Crazy intended it that way, to be a super carry machine. It has more of a crack at impact and typically comes with a closed face as its aimed at ease of use and distance. It all comes down to what you are looking for and what will match you, not necessarily what works for other people. Everyone is different. We have sold a lot of Ryoma's, more than all our other drivers combined, but its certainly not for everyone. Some customers have gone from the forgiving Ryoma to a less forgiving say Jbeam or Crazy and seen improvements in distance, it depends on the player and their swing. Just send me an email. Sorry I did not intend to offend anyone. I thought this was an open forum for discussion. Sorry I really did not consider the price comparison as an insult. I understand everyone is in business to make a profit. Thanks for the info.

I am the one who is sorry if you took it that way. I meant it when I thanked you for letting us know someone has it cheaper, its something we definitely would want to know. I already adjusted our price to be lower. As I said, if you email me I'd be more than happy to help and make sure you get the right driver and shaft this time around. supo
ive played both of these driver heads. enough to know them pretty well. the crayz is longer for me NO DOUBT. the ryoma is much easier and straighter NO DOUBT. i watch my buddy every weekend team the ryoma with a roddio shingo spec and pick up 20 yards straight ahead palys his at 46.5 inch , kills it , that out of his hands impossible. the crazy goes higher . which is better? for hitting fairways -------- ryoma ( is anything better?) for bombing the absolute hell outa balls and taking jamie sadlowski to the cleaners? a howitzer... the crazy is great for launching high monster shots its def one of the best for doing that. depends on what u want. u want control , go the ryoma and shaft it with a crazy 80 ls noir , after that u wil have trouble finding spot for a utility . bec u will be hitting irons for the rest of ur life off nice, tight , cropped fairway. shaft the 460 crazy with anything and its kabooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooom. . I guess I gave up to quick on the Ryoma. Is the premia longer than the vspec d1? I really need max distance but my game can't afford for me to be in the trees. a howitzer... the crazy is great for launching high monster shots its def one of the best for doing that. depends on what u want. u want control , go the ryoma and shaft it with a crazy 80 ls noir , after that u wil have trouble finding spot for a utility . bec u will be hitting irons for the rest of ur life off nice, tight , cropped fairway. shaft the 460 crazy with anything and its kabooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooom. Thank you for the feedback. I made a move for the new one listed in the BST. Funny as it was the finish I wanted. Not sure about the loud headcover but who knows it may be really cool in person. I will start with a Miyazaki Kusala White shaft and go from there. The Miyazaki Kusala series is very underrated in my opinion. I had a Black before in an R11 and the spin and launch were ideal. . gbs
I have gamed both i would say the ryoma is more forgiving like stew mentioned. good control roll everything that its advertised. Since i got the 460 it needed more work than usual now that its dialled in i realised i can sometimes hit further that my ryoma (noting than i am an average joe) But i also noticed in my case i think due to my shaft the ball flight is not extremely high 10.5* but def i can get roll outta this one compared to my super accurate r11. when i want to hit bombs. i will bring my CRZ 460 now.
