idrive
If I could get it to spin just a little bit more, and I mean just a little bit..... but this ball is so good not getting max spin doesn't matter. It does everything as advertised and then some. What I found that surprised me is this ball is as durable as a rock. Just finished 36 with the same ball and it's ready for another 18. That includes some full shots with the Gold's Factory wedges that generally send a ball to the shag bag with one swing. Anyone else playing this ball?? supo
which one? ive been using the premium bril lfor a long time, absolutely love it , when it rains, i dont bother even thinking of any other ball. but in the dry and on hard greens u pay for it too much ive discovered. just too little spin and bite. in the lush of summer here and on moist days tho , its peerless. hard greens im finding the touratage x-01 milds difficult to top. FatMan
I haven't put it in play yet. How does it differ from the Premium Brill?
idrive
Talking about this ball http://www.tourspecgolf.com/Bridgestone-New-Super-Newing-Ball-2011 Yes, hard greens, just doesn't have the spin of a ProV.... haven't tried the Tourstage ball. I find it similar to the Premium Brill. Feels just a bit more solid, seems to fly straighter and is much more durable.
supo
i tried the new tourstage xjds last few rounds, they are really long and solid, they hold ok but not a lick on the 01 milds. the ayre def longer tho, the ball rockets off the face . i can see me usimng these in the wet aswell. they feel a bit clicky on the putter face tho, quite hard. the 01 milds are nicer to play. not as duable tho they get chunked up after 1 round il give those new newings a burl ,i m a big fan of super newing. idrive
Played another 18 with the same SN. That's 54 holes now. Took some full swings with the Gold's wedges that just filled the grooves with the ball but when I'd check the ball I could hardly tell the ball was hit. Just scrape it smooth with my fingernail. Ready for another
supo
if they keeep this up, they will be out of business!
FrankThong
Just went through a sleeve of the Brills, compliments of a really nice guy. ;) I must say that they are my favorite brills of em all even though, like idrive said, it doesn't check up as much as I'd like them to. However, the SDJ Type-bite had been shaving these babies; I'd get 2 rounds tops, if it hasn't found a watery grave!

supo
SN balls! well what a great ball!! played 9 with these and 9 with the TS xjd. these were longer, they felt better, they spun less. the ran more and the came off the driver face like a bullet. on the greens they are sublime. absolutely love them these are replacing the premium brills. they bite better than the brills. they suit better. not as good as the strixons z-star vx , not the xjds nor the milds, around the green, they were much better. i was playing on greens like a rock yesterday speed 11.5 stimp. they go well indeed, on wet windy days or slow rich greens these get the nod now. hard to top the TS milds for all round performance. oh and yes they are clean as a whistle. no real unusable marks, no chunks. gee these are good. FatMan
Love it!! Had a round with it. Considering that I hit it off a waste area, off some mulch, & out of the beaches a number of times, it held up quite well. As previously stated, a touch more spin would have been great but, I'm not complaining. Feels like it just rockets off the driver & has a soft feeling off my putter!
