Lennie
If you are familiar with my posts... my "special" needs..... :) you know I play FW's 2-3* flatter than standard spec, using 58* as standard for a 3 wood. The longer the face... the flatter it needs to be because of the toe up lie. 58* lie will almost work in a compact head but not with a long face. First picture illustrates what I'm getting at. When the club is ready to contact the ball the heel is hitting the ground with the sweet spot elevated and not be able to get under the ball. I'm catching the ball way too low on the face. If I am a bit toward the toe I can almost go over the ball topping it. I had most of my golf buddies hit this club at the driving range yesterday with nothing but great success. It is a fantastic club but I can't hit it off the deck which is what I got it for. When I tee it up slightly this thing was almost 10 yards longer than my egg spoon. For the normal golfer this club sits perfect. Unfortunately it won't work for me so time to pass it on. There is no way the lie can be adjusted. Shafted with a GD MD6 (S) has been pur/flo'd. Gripmaster grip. $550 Head only $650 shafted includes shipping to US. Outside US contact me for shipping quote. more pics in this thread: http://www.tourspecg...-share-reviews/ This first pic is a bit extreme but illustrates my point/problem Interested! Can you tell me more specifically about the shaft? What"s your swingspeed and tempo? Thanks Leonard
idrive
The ball in the pics has been 36 holes..... Graphite design MD6 Stiff flex. Lower launching Quatrotech with a smoother feel. EXCELLENT Shaft. Goes very well with this head. Ideal SS range is 95-105 I had guys hit this with SS's from 80-100. It performed fantastic for all of them
