I'm looking for a strong 3w and after a chat with Petethepilot, this head seem very good and very well priced. Anyone gamed this and share your thoughts?

I am looking for something that will be good for tee and off the deck. Also what shaft did you end up using?

E, you're looking at really nice good looking 3w out there. what happened with your dream fwy wood ryoma f3?

I was on the fone with Pete about something last night & this come out. He said the performance is awesome & when you look at price its too good not to try. Now you know how the matrix performs in the hybrid & Pete said he is using that & the combo is best he has hit and Pete would have tried everything up to the Egg.

Best performing FW I have used. I could play anything but I like this the best. Say no more!!!!

p.s I went for a Matrix Altus High launch low spin shaft because I wanted a 13* strong fairway useable off the deck on tight lies. 15* should handle most shaft configurations.

The Yonex ST is a solid FW. I would rank it top 5 EASY! Good shape, great firm steel feel, very straight low spin shots. Geared slightly toward the faster swinger.

A friend of mine plays that head, he loves it and kills it. Great price on that head, a bite on the light side. Lead tape or hot melt will fix that though.

Matrix black tie, he hits it off the tee. I don't think I've seen him hit more than hybrid on second shot into a par five. Young, strong and very long.

ended up picking a 15* up. price was a steal it would have been insane to pass on it.

debating what to shaft it with but knowing what i like it will most likely be the DI
